This written of the Ante-Nicene church fathers, the followers of Christ from around 100-300 A.D. The men who wrote little and lived much (except for Origen, who wrote much and lived much– he is the one who castrated himself on the basis of Matthew 19:12: “There are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.”).
