making (cute) lists

I love making lists. Lists of things to do, errands to run, recipes to try, music to listen to, shades of white paint that I’ve seen in magazines at the houses of the kids I babysit (all I can think about these days is how I want a house so I can paint every room white, so I have a running list of these different shades of white paint that I see in decorating magazines….).  I am not an organized person at all, so my lists tend to be very abstract, even sloppy.  And they end up crumpled at the bottom of my massive purse, or otherwise lost.  But oh how I love writing it all down.

So I saw these from Design Finch and fell in love.  We don’t really have a printer right now, but I think these look fantastic.  There are free downloadable pages for cleaning plans, meal plans, and just daily life.  I love the one that has a little row of glasses so you can mark off your water consumption……..

I guess it wouldn’t be the most eco-friendly thing in the world to start printing up a million of these every day or week, but if having a cute daily page helps a little with motivation, maybe it wouldn’t be the worst thing?

  1. Yay, so glad you’re as inspired by them as I am! Thanks so much for linking to my blog. Here’s an idea to save trees and ink – you could print one to keep in a frame or plastic sleeve, then make your lists in dry-erase marker so you can erase and repeat. Happy list-making!

  2. What a great idea!!! Thank you! I seriously love those templates and can’t wait to print them up (at some point)!
