John left around 5 this morning and came back before church with a duck.  This is our Sunday, in pictures.  (The photograph above is my attempt at poetic restraint.  If you have a hard time looking at animal parts, please look no further.)  I haven’t decided how to cook the breasts yet, but I am trying to render fat from the skin, and I’ve started a stock with the feet and bones etc.  If anyone knows of a good recipe for wild duck breast, please let me know!!
