Little Toasts with Figs, Chevre, Honey, and Black Pepper

 

Spread some little pieces of bread with chevre, top with slices of fig (about 1/4″ thick), and bake for about 7 minutes at 350.  Top with honey and lots of freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.

  1. That looks great. I had fresh figs for the first time ever a few weeks ago – simply microwaved with honey and served with cream, they were absolutely exquisite!
