Well, all I can say is that I am in love with blueberries. Bought a bunch of them at the farmers’ market today, and two big bags of basil. I made some pesto out of one of the bags, and will make some more pesto tomorrow out of the other. John took me to the botanical gardens at the Cornell Plantations today and we wandered around beds of herbs and breathed in deeply of lavender and sage and mint and rosemary, still damp from all the rain this morning. And we came home and ate some blueberries out of a little bowl.
